Watertown Bathroom Remodel

A dated full bath taken to the studs and rebuilt — waterproofed wet wall, charcoal tile surround, large-format tile floor, new vanity, tub, and fixtures, plus proper ventilation.
Stringa gutted this Watertown bathroom to the studs and rebuilt it as a durable, low-maintenance full bath. Demo pulled the old tub, surround, vanity, toilet, flooring, and finishes; the subfloor was inspected, repaired, and stiffened, and the framing at the wet wall was corrected before anything went back. Plumbing scope included a new pressure-balanced tub and shower valve with chrome trim and shower head, re-piped supplies and a properly pitched drain for the new soaking tub, and new supply and waste connections for the vanity and comfort-height toilet. Electrical scope added a GFCI-protected receptacle, a switched chrome vanity light over the sink wall, and a new ceiling exhaust fan and light combination ducted to the exterior — the piece most remodels skip and the reason tile jobs fail early. The wet wall was built with moisture-resistant backer board and a liquid-applied waterproofing membrane, then tiled floor to ceiling in a large-format charcoal porcelain with tight, level joints and a mitered outside corner at the alcove return. The floor is large-format grey porcelain laid over a leveled and primed substrate with a matching cove and painted base at the dry walls. Finish scope covered the white vanity with an integrated solid-surface top and chrome faucet, toilet set on a new flange, towel bar and ring accessories, a new six-panel door with painted casing and base, and a two-tone warm grey paint package with a bright ceiling. Delivered in 3 weeks with the bath fully back in service and the homeowner living in the house throughout.
