— Detail

Stringa took this Madison basement from bare foundation to finished living space. Scope included furring and framing the perimeter foundation walls, closed-cell and batt insulation for moisture and thermal control, a full electrical rough-in with dedicated circuits and a recessed LED lighting layout, drywall hung and taped to a level-5 finish, and a dropped soffit built to conceal existing HVAC trunk lines and plumbing while keeping ceiling height at its maximum. Finishes include herringbone-pattern luxury vinyl plank flooring, painted baseboard and door casing, a hard-surface interior door, and a uniform bright white paint package to bounce light through the long span. Delivered in 6 weeks with the homeowners in residence.
